Plan Your Untamed Safari

Expert guidance for your journey into Tanzania's last true wilderness.

Ideal Duration

A minimum of **7–10 days** is recommended to cover the core Southern Circuit (Nyerere + Ruaha).

Allow **12 or more days** if you wish to include the full South, incorporating Mikumi, the Udzungwa Mountains, and the Kitulo Plateau for a diverse range of activities.

Best Time to Visit

**Peak Season (June–October):** The dry season offers the best game viewing as wildlife congregates around permanent water sources (rivers, lakes).

**Green Season (December–April):** Ideal for photography, birding, and witnessing the spectacular floral bloom on the Kitulo Plateau.

Getting There (Access)

The Southern Circuit is primarily accessed via **daily scheduled flights** from Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam (DAR) or Zanzibar (ZNZ).

Flights land at airstrips within Nyerere, Ruaha, and Mikumi. **Charter flights** are often essential for reaching the most remote luxury camps.
